Melton Shire-Successful Transition to Secondary School Info Session
An information evening for Melton Shire Grade 5 and 6 parents/guardians in preparing children for a successful move to Secondary School will be held in Melton on Thursday 20th September 2012 from 6:30pm until 8:00pm at the Melton Community Hall in High St Melton. There is no charge to attend. (Registration details follow).
The session will present practical tips, advice and information to assist parents to prepare and support their child in their move to Secondary School.
Angie Wilcock, a highly regarded expert and speaker on Transition in Education will be speaking. Angie works with parents and schools across Australia. Her book, “The Transition Tightrope”, will be released in October.
Spaces are limited so please register your attendance by Monday 10th September 2012 via email to lea.lucas@bmllen.com.au or call 9361-9306 advising your name and number attending along with the name of the primary school which your child attends.
