Future Connect Team Update

Future Connect is pleased to share recent updates within the team, supporting continued partnership development and work-based learning opportunities across Brimbank and Melton.

Najib Warsame, previously School Industry Project Officer, has been appointed as Corporate Work Placements and Partnerships Coordinator. In this new role, Najib will continue to build and strengthen partnerships with industry across the Brimbank and Melton regions, creating more meaningful work placement opportunities and career pathways for young people.

Monica Winchcombe, previously VET Cluster Project Officer, will be stepping into the role of Work-Based Learning Coordinator (Melton), commencing in late March. During this transition period, Monica will be working closely with Najib to support a smooth handover as she settles into the role.

Building on the strong foundations established in recent years, Monica will continue working with employers, schools, and students to support high-quality work-based learning experiences across the Melton region. She will also be attending and facilitating school-based events, as well as coordinating the SBAT Breakfast.
