Strategic Goal 2

Improve transition outcomes and the development of work ready skills in young people by brokering partnerships to create meaningful links between industry and schools

Major Partnership Strategies

  1. Develop partnerships between schools, training organisations, business and industry and community organisations to enable business and industry to engage with key stakeholders, including the education and training sector, to improve education and transition outcomes for all young people and contribute to the skills and knowledge of the future workforce.
  2. Undertake research and investigation to identify current and emerging training and employment opportunities.  Develop partnerships to exploit these opportunities.
