VCE/VCE (Vocational Major)

The Victorian Certificate of Education is changing and now includes an option to complete a Vocational Major, meaning you can study a new 2-year vocational and applied learning program within the VCE.  There is also an option to undertake the Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC).  From 2023, all Victorian government secondary schools will be expected to provide:

  • the VCE Vocational Major
  • the VPC where it is a suitable and agreed pathway for students at the school

The VCE Certificate is taken over a two year period.

To get your VCE, you must successfully complete at least 16 units.
