Operation NewStart – ILead Program Graduation
In mid September 2012 students from St Albans Secondary College, Sunshine College and Taylors Lakes Secondary College graduated from the Operation NewStart ILead Program.
The students spent four days per week over the last five weeks learning about themselves, others and leadership in very different and challenging situations. The students learnt to scuba dive and ski and took part in fire-fighting at the CFA Training Centre. They also took part in workshops on communications skills and developed a group project on community safety in the City of Brimbank. The BMLLEN proudly co-sponsored the students for this unique, challening and rewarding program.
