Brotherhood of St Laurence – Youth Transition Program To Commence 12 August 2013
The Brotherhood of St Laurence is about to commence it’s next Youth Transitions Program “Connecting Young People To Real Jobs” at the Taylors Hill Youth & Community Centre. The next program is due to commence on MONDAY 12 AUGUST 2013.
This program aims to provide participants with knowledge and skills which will enhance their continued education and employment prospects, provide experience in and knowledge of industry so young people can make a more informed choice of vocational career paths, foster the development of social and personal skills relevant to participation in the workforce or further education and enable participants to gain an accredited qualification.
Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a Certificate 1 in Vocational Preparation and a Certificate 11 in General Education for Adults. Participants who successfully complete assesed modules will receive a Statement of Attainment.
